Student Teaching
Student teaching offers aspiring teachers enrolled in approved teacher preparation programs the opportunity to get real-world experience teaching in a New York City Public Schools classroom.
Student teachers grow and develop their skills with the support of experienced mentors, becoming integral members of their school and classroom communities. The relationships forged with teachers and administrators during this experience help pave the way for aspiring teachers to secure full-time teaching positions.
